Sirote & Permutt, PC

The law firm of choice for handling a wide variety of real estate transactions, Sirote & Permutt counsels clients in the planning, financing, and development of routine, as well as complex commercial ventures. From negotiating transactional documentation and assisting with financing to representing clients in eminent domain, zoning, environmental, and other land use matters and controversies, our real estate lawyers regularly take advantage of the collective expertise found throughout the firm to represent the real estate interests of our clients in this pillar industry of our economy.

The industry recognizes the results of our approach. Eighty-eight of our attorneys have been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America©, Chambers USA, and Mid-South Super Lawyers, among other accolades the firm has received. Eleven of our lawyers are current or former adjunct professors of law in real estate, corporate and securities, tax, estate planning, and litigation.

Sirote & Permutt began in the years after World War II, with the partnership of Morris Sirote, Edward Friend, Jr., James Permutt, and Karl Friedman. Together, they built one of the Southeast’s largest and most respected law firms. They succeeded in the early years, and the firm continues to succeed for two reasons. Above all, we put our clients’ interests first. And we approach the practice of law with passion and commitment, and an uncompromising belief in a few core values. Integrity. Trust. Selflessness. Courage. Loyalty. Excellence. Leadership.
